Enterprise Electrical & Mechanical Co. is a Certified member of MICCS.  We have a written safety program and participate in the MICCS Substance Abuse Program.

Foremen perform weekly toolbox talks with their crews every Monday morning before the start of their work day.   The foremen also go over a daily safety worksheet each morning with their crew, and perform a weekly safety inspection of the site.  All crafts persons are required to have a 10 Hour OSHA card within 30 days of their hire date with the company.

All new hires are required to attend a safety orientation prior to starting work in the field.  This orientation includes the company safety policies and procedures.  At the orientation each new hire receives a copy of the safety manual, a short safety video and 30 minutes of safety information from the Safety Director.

All accidents and incidents are investigated and reports are filed and post incident drug testing is required.

The Safety Director visits jobsites on a weekly basis performing jobsite inspections and talking with the crafts persons about safety issues and supplying any needed safety equipment.  As a minimum each craftsperson must wear their hard hat, safety glasses and leather work boots.
